The Blue Whale is a 3,300 sqft home that is perfect for your next family gathering, reunion, church retreat, corporate meeting, or anyone just wanting to get away from it all.
With 5 bedrooms (3 en suite), 4.5 baths, a formal dining area, breakfast bar, and two living room areas, this home opens its doors to you and your group, inviting a weekend of relaxation and reconnection. The property has two beach access points depending on if you prefer to hit the beach quickly (3 minute walk with steps) or leisurely (5 minute walk with sloped grade to the sand.)
If your group intends to spend the whole day on the beach with lots of gear, then the recommended route is to load up your rig and drive down to the beach, as one very unique aspect of this home is that parking on the beach is just two miles away!

PARKING:
Five vehicles are allowed at this property.
Please park in the driveway only.
NO PETS ALLOWED:
Pets are NOT allowed.
Because many guests have severe pet allergies & in order to preserve furnishings in the home in a coastal environment, there are NO exceptions.
A minimum cleaning fee of $500 will be charged from the security deposit for extra cleaning due to violation of this rule to cover the costs it would require to repair/replace damages and complete a deeper, pet cleaning of the home.
GARBAGES
We have carry-out service, so guests do not need to place cans on the curb.
Collect all garbages from the kitchen and bathrooms and place in the cans outside, located behind the garage.
If there is more garbage than what fits in the two bins outside, please take it with you.
ENTERTAINMENT
The kitchen has an Apple Sound Pod to make meal prep more enjoyable–connect via bluetooth.
We recommend the “Vintage Reggae Cafe” playlist on Spotify to settle into a Blue Whale state of mind.
The living room has a TV & sound bar; all bedrooms have Rokus as well. There are labeled remotes for your convenience.
Guests have access to streaming services on Disney+, HBO Max, Netflix, Hulu, and AppleTV.
Please keep the remotes in the room where they were found.
Guests will be responsible for replacing a missing remote.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR/NO PARTIES
Excessive noise/parties will result in fines up to $500 per day.
Owner reserves the right to expel guests from the house for any disruptive behavior, including but not limited to climbing on the roof, discharging fireworks, using illegal substances, etc.
If forced to leave prior to planned stay at the home, guests will not be refunded.
If no remaining days are planned, guests will pay $500 as liquidated damages for violations.
Maximum occupancy for the home is 16 guests.
The parking areas cannot be used to sleep extra guests.
No weddings, receptions, parties, or other group functions without owner consent.
Acceptable Use: extended family trips, corporate retreats, church retreats, responsible adults 25 years and older.
NO SMOKING
Please do NOT smoke inside.
There will be a minimum fee of $500 and forfeiture of the home without refund if this rule is violated.
You may smoke out front or on the deck with the doors & windows closed.
CANCELLATION
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in.
If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.
After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in.
No refund after that.
EXCESS DAMAGES
If damages exceed the Security Deposit, guests will be billed additional charges and responsible to pay within 30 days.
We reserve the right to charge your credit card for damage, theft, or special cleaning required due to damages outside normal wear and tear.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
The security deposit is $1000.
If there are any reported damages, missing items, citations, or extra cleaning within 14 days after guest use, the security deposit of $1000 will be charged to the original method of payment.
MAINTENANCE
Owners shall make every effort to keep the house, its systems, and appliances well maintained.
Owners will repair any appliances upon notice from guests.
Owners shall not be liable for any failure(s) of any system or appliance in the house.
ACCESS
Owners, along with agents, are allowed access to the house and land upon at least 24 hours notice to guest through property manager by phone, writing, or in person.
This includes, but is not limited to, plumbers, electricians, rental companies, pest inspection, etc.
Refusing entry may result in termination of the rental agreement and forfeiture of security deposit.
CLEANING & SAFETY
Prior to your arrival, the home was professionally cleaned to the highest standards.
For any light cleaning you need to do during your stay:
The broom & dust pan is in the downstairs coat closet.
The mop is in the same closet, with BONA cleaner under the kitchen sink.
Cleaning rags and other supplies are located laundry area & under kitchen sink.
The first aid kit is in the pantry.
The fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink.
